This delightful little pub is situated in the village of Eggington opposite the church. The village lies along the line of the Thedeway, an ancient highway pre-dating the Roman occupation.
When Andrew Pass purchased the pub in 1994 he completely refurbished it. Since it re-opened, it has enjoyed a growing reputation as a brilliant eating place with a traditional pub atmosphere. Just this year it earned it's first star in the fifth edition of "Good Pub Food" published by CAMRA.
